MacCormac Architects is based in Perth, Western Australia and was established in 1997. We are a medium sized practice undertaking large scale work. We are a core group of professionals led by Kym MacCormac. We have worked on a diverse range of projects including Commercial Offices, Retail and Multi-storey Apartments.
We work with our clients from inception to help them to visualise how their site can be developed with alternatives explored and preferred configurations identified to ensure the best solution to unlock the development potential latent in every site.
We endevour to ensure the most efficient and effective solution to internal planning by blurring the lines between Exterior and Interior. We seek to bring the outside in to all our interior spaces.
To work to ensure the optimum layout for the office spaces to produces a building which best projects the image which reinforces the clients operations.

Kym has 34 years of experience in the work of an Architect. We undertake a limited number of projects each year and offer a personal service with only minimal delegation during the progress of each project.
Kym has been a registered architect since 1976, and is currently a member of the Urban Design Committee of the RAIA . He is an examiner for the Architects Board of WA, a Registered Builder and was the RAIA Representative on the Builders Registration Board. Kym holds a Bachelor degree in Architecture from the University of Adelaide. Kym also holds a Graduate Diploma in Property from Curtin University in 1995.
We are pleased to announce that Paola Crova has taken out the 2010 International Student of the Year award at the Central Institute of Technology Staff and Student Awards. Minister for Training, the Hon Peter Collier presented Paola with her award at the gala event at the Government House Ballroom in August 2010. The annual event officially recognises rewards and promotes student and staff excellence at Central Institute of Technology, one of WA’s largest training providers.
We work to ensure that our clients are provided with advice to ensure that their site is developed in the most appropriate and rewarding way.
We have specialised knowledge of mixed use buildings including Commercial Offices, Retail and Multi-storey Apartment Buildings. Kym has also advised MRWA on aesthetics and prepared their standard guidelines for Tenders on public structures including road bridges, tunnels and walkways.
